At Computer Repairs Pronto we carry out audio and hi fi repairs for customers across Sydney and western Sydney. The team have been repairing audio equipment for over fifteen years and we handle everything from modern home theatre systems through to vintage amplifiers, turntables and valve equipment. We are one of the few repair shops in the area that still work on older hi fi gear which is something we get alot of enquiries about.
All audio repair work is carried out on site at our workshop. We do not send equipment off to third parties and we do not use subcontractors. We are fully insured and all audio repair work comes with a warranty on parts and labour. As such we are able to offer a level of care with your equipment that you wont get from most places.

The technicians at Computer Repairs Pronto are experienced in working with both solid state and valve based equipment. For vintage audio repairs we source parts where possible and can fabricate or substitute components where the originals are no longer available. We understand that older equipment often has sentimental value as well as audio quality that people want to preserve and we treat it accordingly.
Amplifier Repair and Speaker Repair
Amplifier repairs are one of the more common audio jobs we handle. Faults range from blown output transistors and failed capacitors through to crackling volume pots and intermittent channel dropout. For speaker repairs we handle blown drivers, crossover faults, damaged surrounds and general re coning work. We also carry out repairs on powered speakers and studio monitors.
For home audio and home theatre setups we repair AV receivers, sound systems and surround sound equipment. Most of these jobs are board level faults on the main processing board or the amplifier stage which is where our board level repair experience comes in.
Vintage Audio Repair
We get alot of vintage audio work coming through from customers who have older equipment that they want kept running. This includes valve amplifiers, vintage receivers, classic turntables and older speaker systems. The team have worked on equipment from brands like Marantz, Sansui, Pioneer, Yamaha and others going back decades. We are always happy to take a look at vintage gear and provide an honest assessment.
