Common ZenBook Problems We Fix

• Screen Problems - The OLED screens on newer ZenBooks can develop burn-in. We also see dead pixels, backlight issues and cracked screens. Screen replacements available for all models.
• ScreenPad Issues - The secondary touchpad screen on some ZenBooks can develop problems. Unresponsive, flickering or dead pixels.
• Battery Swelling - Older ZenBooks are known for battery swelling. This pushes up the keyboard or trackpad and can damage internal components.

• Hinge Failures - This is very common on VivoBooks. The plastic hinge mounts crack and the screen becomes loose or breaks away from the base. We can often repair without replacing the whole chassis.
• Slow Performance - Many VivoBooks come with slower processors or mechanical hard drives. An SSD upgrade makes a massive difference to speed.

Common ROG Problems We Fix

• Overheating and Thermal Throttling - Gaming laptops run hot. ROG machines use liquid metal thermal paste on some models which can leak if not applied correctly. We do full thermal services and repastes.
• Fan Failures - Gaming laptop fans work hard and wear out faster. Loud noise, grinding sounds, fans not spinning. We replace fans on all ROG models.
• GPU Issues - Graphics card problems, artifacting on screen, crashes during games. Sometimes driver related, sometimes hardware failure.
• Keyboard Problems - Gaming keyboards get heavy use. RGB lighting failures, key switches wearing out, unresponsive keys.
